De Kersentuin is a Bed & Breakfast in the center of Borgloon.
Borgloon is a small town in the south of Belgian Limburg.
Our B&B is a protected monument of more than 200 years old. A historic mansion with an authentic character, located in the most beautiful spot in the center of Borgloon with a fantastic view.
The B&B is small. We only take 1 booking at a time. There are two rooms that we collectively call the family room.
The B&B excels because of the large spacious rooms, the wonderful beds in which you can sleep well, the delicious breakfast with many homemade and regional products and all the tips we can give you.
The family room
Our family room consists of
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a living room.
The family room can accommodate up to 4 people.

You can enjoy a delicious and extensive breakfast with many homemade products. Hostess Ingrid likes to spoil you with her sourdough bread and special jams. If you have special wishes for breakfast, such as gluten-free or vegan, we will be happy to prepare something special for you.

Families with children are very welcome. There is a living room with games and when the children are in bed at night, the parents can relax in front of the fireplace. There is a swing for the children in the walled garden. There is plenty to do for the kids in and around Borgloon.

PIT brings art to the open space of Borgloon. You can see the famous See Through Church by Gijs van Vaerenbergh (Reading between the lines) from our house. Fred Eerdekens 'Twijfelgrens' is also within walking distance. We have both walking and cycling routes along the works of art ready for you.

After an extensive breakfast, Borgloon is the perfect base for cycling and walking in the famous Haspengouw fruit region. Jump on our electric bicycles and cycle effortlessly over the Haspengouw hills. The cycle computer knows the way! Or enjoy the peace and nature on the Landscape Haspengouw walks.

Borgloon has several excellent restaurants, brasseries and eateries within walking distance.
In addition, there is a large choice of restaurants in the surrounding villages, Tongeren, Hasselt and Sint-Truiden.

Good to know:
We only accept 1 booking at a time, you are always the only guest in the B&B with your group
Children up to 17 years: € 20 per child
Baby up to 2 years: free in the parents' room
Use of the family room as two single rooms: surcharge €15
Breakfast is included in the room rate
Check-in from 5 pm, check-out until 11 am
When booking we ask for a deposit of 50%
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival
In high season (April to October) and holidays minimum stay 2 nights
Minibar with various beers, wines, prosecco and soft drinks
Electric bicycle rental: € 22.50 (from the 2nd day € 17.50 per day)
